Children’s Ministry exists to share Christ and to partner with parents in discipling, training, and equipping kids to know, live God’s Word. Through a nurturing and safe environment, the ministry supports families in grounding children in Scripture. Key ministries include Children’s Sunday School, Wednesday evening Truth Trackers, and Vacation Bible School.

The Plugged-In Student Ministry seeks to connect students to Jesus Christ so they grow as lifelong disciples who reflect Him to the world. With an emphasis on developing a strong biblical worldview, the ministry equips students to live out their faith and reach those within their daily spheres of influence.

Adult Sunday School provides a structured environment for spiritual growth by placing the highest priority on the study of God’s Word. Through a combination of topic discussions and studies of Bible books, participants take part in large-group teaching followed by small-group discussions that encourage friendship, support, and real-life application. These classes help believers deepen their relationship with God, grow in community, and live out their faith in daily life.

The Women’s Ministry provides opportunities for women to grow in faith, fellowship, and biblical understanding. The ministry hosts a monthly brunch and Bible study for all women, as well as a separate monthly group focused on biblical motherhood for younger women. Through these gatherings, women are encouraged, equipped, and connected to one another in Christ.

The goal of missions is to lead the church in fulfilling the Great Commission by guiding and promoting evangelism, missions, and multiplication beyond our home campus. This ministry team is rooted in the biblical call to be Christ’s witnesses locally and globally; the team seeks opportunities to raise leaders and mobilize the congregation for mission.

Together with the vocalist, instrumentalists, and music technicians, the Worship Ministry leads the congregation in encountering, honoring, and responding to the Lord through relevant, biblical, and Spirit-led worship. It seeks to create Christ-centered worship experiences that are excellent and engaging, inviting people to connect deeply with God.

El Ministerio Hispano tiene como objetivo formar seguidores de Cristo comprometidos en la comunidad hispana de Norfolk y sus alrededores, mediante la enseñanza de la Biblia, la construcción de relaciones y el fomento del crecimiento. En colaboración con la Junta de Misiones de Norteamérica (North American Mission Board), este ministerio ha ayudado a plantar múltiples iglesias en la región, extendiendo el alcance del evangelio y fortaleciendo a las comunidades locales.

The Fellowship and Hospitality Ministry fosters community and cares for the congregation by creating opportunities for connection through events and gatherings. This team welcomes guests, coordinates Fifth Sunday congregational meals, provides meals for families facing medical or personal needs, and hosts funeral meals. They also lead special annual events such as the Easter morning breakfast and the Thanksgiving feast.

Service teams are the backbone of our church, supporting daily operations while caring for our people and resources. Teams such as Finance, Building & Grounds, Decorating & Marketing, Security, and Greeters & Ushers help everything run smoothly, creating a safe, welcoming, and spiritually nurturing environment.
